Visiting this website

When you visit, technically necessary data is processed: IP address, time, page requested and the browser identifier transmitted. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). This data is deleted after 30 days at the latest.

Enquiries via the form

We use your details solely to handle your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). If no engagement results, we delete the data once the correspondence is concluded, unless a statutory retention period applies.

Event registration

For participation we collect name, address, e-mail address and the details needed to run the event, such as catering preferences. The basis is the participation contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Data relevant to billing is retained in line with tax law requirements.

Submission and peer review

Submitted contributions and author details are passed to the people entrusted with the review, to the extent required by the procedure. Review follows the rules of the respective programme committee.

Disclosure to third parties

Data is disclosed only where necessary to run the event – for example to the venue for the access list – or where we are legally obliged to do so. We operate the platform ourselves on servers inside the European Union.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Please contact office@m-n.marketing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority.
